The Foxhole

Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the Internet. My name is Maggie…Margaret Fox McIlroy technically. Hence, the Foxhole. A foxhole is a place of refuge, sometimes dug up by an actual fox, and sometimes by soldiers in war. It’s a safe space. Growing up, I always heard my mom refer to her best friends as her “foxhole friends”, the people who she could count on no matter what. I created this blog to be my very own refuge, my place of healing. For the past year and a half or so, I’ve been fighting in a war of my own. I hope to use this platform to tell my battle stories, and maybe make some foxhole friends along the way. Thanks for stopping by!
